“Lohengrin” at Opernhaus Zürich

Rachel Willis-Sørensen makes her house debut at the Opernhaus Zürich this month in the role of Elsa von Brabant in Wagner’s Lohengrin. Conducted by Fabio Luisi, Ms. Willis-Sørensen is joined by Brandon Jovanovich in the title role, Christof Fischesser as Heinrich der Vogler, and Anna Smirnova as Ortrud. A co-production with the Weiner Staatsoper, director Andreas Homoki’s sets the action in a Bavarian beer hall.  Ms. Willis-Sørensen made her role debut as Elsa in 2016 at the Deutsche Oper Berlin. Performances take place June 12, 14 16 & 18 and July 1, 2 & 4.
