Role debut as Valentine de Saint-Bris

Ms. Willis-Sørensen makes her role debut as Valentine de Saint-Bris in Meyerbeer’s epic opera Les Huguenots this February. Extremely demanding vocally and dramatically, this also marks the first time the soprano is tackling an opera by this composer. The new Jossi Wieler production is conducted by Marc Minkowski, whom she worked with at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden when she sang Donna Anna in Don Giovanni. Ana Durlovski sings the role of Marguerite de Valois, John Osborn and Mert Süngü share the role of Raoul de Nangis, Michele Pertusi sings Marcel, Léa Desandre sings Urbain, Laurent Alvaro sings Le Comte de Saint-Bris, Alexandre Duhamel sings Le Comte de Nevers, and Anicio Zorzi Giustiniani sings De Tavannes.

The show opens on February 26th with subsequent performances February 28th, March 1st, 4th, 6th, and 8th. Tickets and additional information can be found here.
