Elisabetta in Don Carlo in Munich

Following her acclaimed performances across Europe this season, Rachel Willis-Sørensen returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper to sing Elisabetta di Valois in Verdi’s Don Carlo. This is her second performance of the role this season, having sung it at Teatro San Carlo, marking her house debut at the theater. Under the baton of Ivan Repušić, she shares the stage with Stephen Costello as Don Carlo, Erwin Schrott as King Phillipe, Ekaterina Semenchuk as Princess Eboli, and George Petean as Rodrigo.

Later in the month, she joins Plácido Domingo for a special concert at the Podkarpackie Philharmonic in Poland on May 23 with Gaetano Lo Coco conducting.
