Lohengrin at the Bayerische Staatsoper 

This February, Ms. Willis-Sørensen returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper to perform one of her most beloved Wagnerian roles: Elsa von Brabant in Lohengrin. Her performance at Oper Frankfurt in 2022 was highly commended by Platea Magazine: “Rachel Willis-Sorensen was a committed Elsa in the acting and brilliant vocally, with a voice of great volume and projection, an attractive timbre and, above all, extreme security in the entire range, especially in the high zone.” This time, under the baton of Maestro Sebastian Weigle, she performs alongside Ryan Speedo Green as Heinrich der Vogler, Benjamin Bruns as the title-role, Martin Gantner as Friedrich von Telramund and Anja Kampe as Ortrud .

Performances take place on February 8th, 11th and 15th.
