Violetta in La traviata at the Royal Ballet and Opera House

Rachel Willis-Sørensen stars as Violetta Valéry in La traviata at the Royal Ballet and Opera House, conducted by Giacomo Sagripanti, with Charles Castronovo as Alfredo Germont and Christoph Pohl as Giorgio Germont. On the occasion of her role debut as Violetta at Opéra national de Bordeaux, Le Monde enthused,  “…the American soprano has without a doubt one of the most impressive voices in the opera world. The timbre, of marmoreal beauty, is striking, the projection telluric…” The soprano has also performed the role in Los Angeles and Paris, and recorded “Sempre libera” for her debut recording, Rachel. 

Performances take place on February 3, 5, 8, 11, 15, and 17.
